Vision
The BtB project’s vision is a full life for people with disabilities in the community.
Mission
The BtB project’s mission is to offer rights-based training to empower people with
disabilities and to develop the quality and number of people with disabilities as trainers.
Aims
- Provide rights-based courses on topics relevant to people with disabilities who use disability support services
- Provide training, support and supervision to people with disabilities interested in becoming trainers
- Develop training opportunities for people with disabilities to provide disability awareness training to general public
Values
- Project work to address systemic issues around lack of learning opportunities for people with
disabilities and opportunities for people with disabilities to work as trainers on disability related issues
- Offer a high quality training service
- Maximise the involvement of people with disabilities at all levels of the project
- Promote self-advocacy and empowerment for people with a disability
- Promote full participation of people with disabilities in the life of the community

Business Plan
Action for Community Living is currently developing a business
plan for the BtB project. It will be made available once it is finalised.
