Community Living Alliance
The Community Living Alliance (CLA) is a group of disability advocacy groups committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities through improved accommodation options.
The group, formerly named the Coalition Against Segregated Living (CASL) was officially re-launched at the CIDA Conference in Melbourne in May 2004.
The CLA is a rapidly expanding group and currently has more than 10 organisations as members representing well over 1000 active individual members drawn from people with disabilities, their families and friends, experts in the disability field and interested members of the broader community

late 2004 Disability Services Queensland released a discussion paper on preparing information for people with a disability.
The discussion paper:
outlined the issues to be considered in developing DSQ's policy for preparing information for people with a disability
summarised how DSQ currently provides information to a variety of disability groups
suggested some guidelines for communicating with groups within the disability sector.
